Course Equivalencies for Political Science courses
The Department of Political Science determines which Political Science courses taken at other institutions are equivalent to UC Davis Political Science (POL) courses. Please see below for more information about existing equivalency decisions and submitting new equivalency requests.
Political Science, Political Science - Public Service, and International Relations majors: If you are planning to take major requirement courses at another institution, we strongly urge you to notify your advising team of which courses you are planning to take and when so we can update your major progress and help ensure you meet your graduation requirements. New Course Equivalency Requests
Before submitting a new course equivalency request, please use Assist.org linked below (for California Community College courses) and/or the database below (for all other institutions) to see if your course has been evaluated previously. If your course is not listed, then proceed to initiate a new equivalency review request. Use the form below to submit your course equivalency request. Your request will be evaluated by faculty and you will be notified of the result via e-mail.
