Lauren Peritz joined the faculty at UC Davis in 2015 after receiving a Ph.D. in political science and a M.S. in statistics from UCLA.  Lauren spent the 2016-17 academic year as a visiting Princeton University as a Fellow in the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance. Lauren's research focuses on international political economy, with a particular interest in examining how international courts promote economic cooperation among countries. Recent work ​investigates whether and why U.S. trade and immigration policy have shifted in a “backlash” against economic globalization.  Here is a copy of Lauren's curriculum vitae.
