I am a 5th-year Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at UC Davis. My primary field is American Politics. I am interested in the internal organization of state legislatures and the impact committee systems have on legislative productivity. Currently, I am a fellow with the Russell J. and Dorothy S. Bilinski Foundation.
Under the guidance of Dr. Matthew Shugart and Dr. Scott A. MacKenzie, my dissertation examines committee appointments and bill activity in professionalized state legislatures across the US.
