Professor Amber Boydstun was recently featured in The Hill: “'It just doesn't seem in his ethos or in any kind of longer-term best interest of the White House for him to use that specific expletive,' Boydstun said. 'That just doesn't track.'"
The Department of Political Science is saddened to report the loss of Edmond Costantini, Professor emeritus of Political Science, on January 10, 2022. He was 89 years old.
Costantini joined the UC Davis faculty in 1964 as he was completing his doctoral studies in political science at UC Berkeley. He previously earned a master’s degree from the University of Connecticut and an undergraduate degree from New York University, where he was Phi Beta Kappa.

Professor Taodzero joined the African American and African Studies (AAAS) department in 2021. He specializes in political economy, in general, and the political economy of Africa, in particular. We are very happy to have him as a faculty affiliate in political science!
